Red Cross Cadets from Cornerstone Christian College Secondary School have shared their leadership skills with a new generation today.
The Year 6 students have representative leaders who have been taken under the wing of their older counterparts, and given a lesson in team work.
In their final year of Primary School. the Year 6 students were able to taste part of what lies ahead in the fabulous Secondary program at Cornerstone, and derived skills that will aid them in their senior positions in the Primary school for the remainder of 2016.
Today’s challenge was to work together to build a the tallest free-standing structure they could with a few basic tools. A balloon, bucket, cups, skewers, news paper and tape were all they were provided with and it required some creative planning to succeed.
Fantastic work by Mrs Dragstra and the Red Cross Cadets in bringing the two schools together.
