Enrolment Steps

In deciding the best school for your child/children, we want you to be certain that the educational program at Cornerstone is what you want for your child/children. The College website is the best place to go to learn about the College; who we are, our services, the Christian foundation of the College, curriculum and course offerings.

Step 1 - Familiarise yourself with the College

We encourage all families considering enrolment at Cornerstone Christian College to carefully read through and evaluate all relevant information and requirements for enrolment at Cornerstone Christian College prior to submitting an Application for Enrolment.

Booking a tour of the school during school hours to see what we have to offer is another way to get a feel for the College and who we are.

Good questions to ask yourself prior to and during a visit might include:

  • Are the students engaged in meaningful learning programs?
  • Do teachers take a pride in their work?
  • Do staff take a real interest in the children they serve?
  • Is the environment conducive to learning?
  • Is there a positive tone or climate throughout the school?
  • Are students enjoying what they are doing and taking a pride in their school?
  • Do the teachers model and teach the values and beliefs that you consider important for your child?

Step 2 – Contact our Registrar for an Enrolment Form

Applying for enrolment at Cornerstone Christian College has never been easier.

Please Note


The following documentation as a minimum (for each child) must be included with the application:

  • Copy of birth certificate (Please bring the original to your interview)
  • Copy of visa (if applicable)
  • Copy of Immunisation records
  • Copy of most recent school report
  • Copy of NAPLAN results (if applicable)

It is really important that you are completely transparent about any special needs your children may have, to ensure we are able to deliver to your child the education and support they need.

Step 3 - Processing of Application

Once we have received the application a receipt of acknowledgement will be issued via email.

Once the application has been successfully assessed, the College Registrar will make contact to book an enrolment interview and advise if any further documentation is required.

Step 4 – Enrolment Interview

Attending the interview is a requirement for enrolment and it is important that the prospective student/s are also present at the interview. (A phone interview can be arranged in certain circumstances)

At the interview the College principal will discuss the application as well as provide a brief overview of the College history, the Christian ethos of the College as well as general information about curriculum, uniforms, facilities and discipline etc.

Step 5 – Formal Offers

Subject to interview* and successful assessment of application, your child/children will either be:

1. offered a place for enrolment or
2. placed on a waitlist

Once an official offer has been made, you will receive an Enrolment Pack booklet, which outlines the steps from here.  There are a number of policies and agreements that are included in this booklet,  and an Agreement for Enrolment form that needs to be signed, and returned.  You will also recieve a copy of a contract, which must be returned at least two days prior to commencement, and the payment of the $150** fee deposit which needs to be paid.

* The Principal may, if deemed necessary, refer the prospective student/s to be assessed by a member the College’s Learning Support Team to determine if the College can adequately care for the student.

** This bond is credited to your school account and taken off your initial fees, or in the case of Pre-Kindy, will be held in trust and taken off your child’s Kindergarten Fees in the following year.  

Step 6 – Acceptance of Offer

Acceptance of the offer is made official once the Contract, payment options information, and Agreement for Enrolment form is signed and returned with the $150 payment.

It is important that you advise the College Administration of any change in your contact details so that we have up-to-date information.

*A minimum of ten weeks notice must be given for a withdrawal, otherwise you are liable to pay a terms tuition in full.

Step 7 – Order Uniforms

Once you have accepted the offer you need to schedule a uniform fitting at our Fitment Centre.  All uniforms must be ordered and paid for online. You can place your order here.  Delivery is three to five working days.

Step 8 - Commencement At Cornerstone

Commencement as Cornerstone follows as soon as possible after ordering and receipt of the new uniform. All documentation and contracts must be returned at least two working days prior to commencement. We look forward to welcoming your family into the Cornerstone Community!
