The secret is no secret at all

You could be forgiven for wondering where all our successes are coming from. A small school taking out awards and getting recognition in so many spheres of endeavor. When you read the stories that are contained in just this newsletter alone there are some amazing things happening. It certainly reflects well on the College! The secret is really no secret at all – there are staff and students here who have an incredible level of commitment to what they are doing. They are determined to take advantage of opportunities that are presented to them and even go looking for other ones.

But it doesn’t just look like wins and certificates. Students are experiencing new activities in new places, taking part in different pursuits for the first time, and doing it with enthusiasm. There is an attitude that we promote in the College that comes from Paul’s letter to the Colossians – “whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men”. It’s this approach that encourages us all to get involved to the best of our ability.
