Over the last few weeks there have been lots of reports of Cornerstone winning things! Three separate Eisteddfod entries, the Dairy Industry competition, soccer games and more. It has been exciting to be able to celebrate with the students involved in these endeavours and see our school represented so ably in our community.
It is important to recognise our prominent successes but it is also vital to celebrate the quieter achievements of so many other students. Our semester reports are coming out in the next week and it is there that parents are going to find some of the less obvious successes. I know there are students who have made progress this semester in areas that cause them to struggle, marks going up just a bit or, perhaps more significant, an improvement in attitude or engagement. Please take the opportunity to build up your child when this report arrives. We celebrate together as a community as the semester closes.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
