Cadets on Parade

Red Cross Cadets were on parade today, when for the first time in 2016 the students were able to connect with their newly formed ‘tribes’.

The Red Cross Program at Cornerstone is unique, and one of the few across Australia that operate within a school curriculum.

Over the coming weeks, the ‘tribes’ will undertake a range of activities, from team building, biking, archery, canoeing and more, with the intent to develop leadership and camaraderie amongst the students.

Today’s activity was to come up with a team name, dance and ‘paper based’ costume. To the delight of the other tribes and panel of judges, the students strutted their way down the catwalk.

A great start to a strong program at Cornerstone Christian College.
